You are only able to cross class abilities from the sub class required for the job.

example: Paladin = gla and mrd (example yoshi used not sure if this is the finalized requirements for paladin). since mrd is the sub class for the job you would only be able to cross class skills from that class.

@Krausus: Archer only has 3 bar slots open due to light shot and refill. I'd adore Refill getting removed but you can't get rid of Light Shot.

But I thought its only 5 abilities from Job, 10 cross class and 15 current class. That only equals 30, which we have room for. I'm not saying they won't restrict any cross class abilities, just that there is room.
