Hey, Ala Mhigo, where is your healer gear?

That explains why it fell to the Garlean Empire...

I un as BRD and all I ever see are healer/caster gear >.>

The verity tomes are basically the rng protection. The job quests pretty much give you left side for free, and it just happens that this dungeon is considered an expert dungeon so the gear is a bit better than af.

RNG is RNG.

I traded in 4+ healer chests in my 40+ runs to see (and get) the caster hat.

I usually only see accessories drop for healer, but no actual gear.

Yep, RNG is powerful. I ran Shisui 3 of 4 times and had a full set of it's gear for my PLD including the sword and shield, it took her a few more runs to finally get everything via the guaranteed pieces. Gotta admit though Ala Mhigo seems to really like slaying, maiming, aiming and casting. It's almost certainly RNG, but then with so many roles now, and role restrictions, it can be easy for RNG to make it hard to get gear.

On just one run last night I got 3 pieces for my bard and 2 for my RDM who I was actually running it with. I was happy lol.

Ok, are the loot tables screwed up or is the RNG just being a beast. My wife plays WHM and has yet to see a single armor piece drop, a few accessories is all she's seen in many runs, this whole you get a piece of gear you need in a dungeon thing was great. Perhaps though the loot table in Ala Mhigo needs to be retuned to actually drop armor since there are no guaranteed drops. Seriously, where is the healer gear?

Didn't you hear? They removed healer gear from all dungeons going forward.
