Please never change Bard (feedback)

I love my bard now. Don't you dare change it! It's such fun to play!!! Yay!!!!

Agree 100%.
I've fallen in love with Bard again after hating the clunky mess it became in Heavensward.
It feels great watching for procs and having fewer issues with clipping my GCD. :D

Disagree. Preferred bow mage, just wanted more songs and support to go with as the name 'bard' suggests.

One less job to worry about, I suppose. :(

I'll chime in on this too, I had fun playing BRD on my alt during ARR but dropped it like a rock when I hit the cast times. Went to NIN during HW on my alt, although now heavily considering picking BRD back up when I put time into my alt again.

I always thought it was ok in ARR and HW, with or without cast times didn't make a difference to me. But SB bard is really impressive, with the songs being more a part of active gameplay, nice animations and overall fun. One of the best jobs in the game now I think.

If that's true, I'm buying a machinist jump potion next paycheck.

I didn't mind the Bowmage. My thing is I'm FINALLY a true DPS SUPPORT.
I remember when I looked over ARR years ago and was hyped with BRD just to
see how terrible and situational songs were, now after all these years, they finally
made BRD a real supportive DPS. Easily one of the best reworks they did with the jobs.
Playing songs going out 100% of the time is so much fun.
Love it so much. So many cookies to SE. :P

Yup. They did. They changed it to a new heat gauge mechanic instead.

I agree. I left after Heavensward slapped a cast time on Bards. The game was left with Melee, or Casters. If I wanted to play a caster, I would roll a BLM/SMN.

I came back after hearing that they are going to remove the stupid cast time idea on Bards. However, I've been telling myself that if they can change Bard once, they can do it again.

If they do something stupid like adding cast time on Bards again, I'm dropping this game for good.
