PS4 Constant Disconnect Temp Solution

the only thing i changed in fact was only the MTU and im at the fourth or fifth dungeon without problems
needles to say being a temporany fix they still have to do something, like could happen that for some ps4 user doesnt fix it

This is sad... SE costumers had to come up with the solution to a very big issue because SE didn't care to help.. this info will probably get stickied or even posted on the launcher until they fix it.

I'd like to thank Jozu and everyone who tested and sent forward this temporary fix. I was finally able to get out of Omega's solo instance. Thanl you!

At least now I'll be able to enjoy the few days of sub I've got. Dont't think I'll resub so soon; this month was the WORST experience I had with FFXIV since ARR's launch.

This really made my day!

Uk resident here and can confirm that its the mtu setting that fixes it. My router threw a hissyfit at the dns numbers so i set them to automatic and it worked. Thankyou jozu and Blazinhart for sharing the info

most pc users confirm that use a VPN like wtfast it works you could try like that or like sayed here

I'm gonna try the MTU change on PC.

Edit: Adjusting MTU at the router doesn't work. :(

I'd like to thank you also,I tried the temp fix and I was able to do the Omega solo instance,have yet to test any duties

Seeing how using Google dns works I tend to believe the "SE blocked a wide IP range in response to the DDoS attacks"-theory.
