VerFlare tool tip is misleading

nowhere there does it say that the combo is REQUIRED to use the skill. you just don't get the potency increase from the combo. but you CAN spam ER as much as you want without the combo, for 100 potency. the only thing it requires is Black/White Mana.

Redoublement does not become Enchanted by doing the combo. It becomes Enchanted by having more than 30 Black/White Mana.

don't get me wrong, you would realistically NEVER use this skill uncombo'd. But it is still possible to do so.

I stand corrected. You can indeed use the enchanted versions as long as you have the mana. My mistake.

Actually, for me, the tooltip under Actions & traits says nothing about what activates it. I had to find out how from an old Reddit post.

Did you guys seriously necro a thread from 6 years ago, made at the beginning of Stormblood?!

The way a skill worked back then may not be how it works now, so whatever issue this thread was addressing was probably either solved or made redundant.

This thread is indeed moot. The current workings of Verflare and Verholy are laid out in the Mana Stack trait and also in the Job Gauge Details, and the way things currently work is more forgiving than the way they worked when this thread was started six years ago.

someone with a minor point getting "but actually" 'd by a pack of neck bead's.. yeah that sums up stormblood pretty well lool
