I Can't Bring Myself to Do Lower Level Dungeons On a Lvl 70

iirc, i have not played WoW in many years. But did they not let you keep your abilities that you had unlocked, just sync'd them all down to whatever level you are on? Sure it still made older content "easier" but at least it did not mess up your action bars, and you could still do your "rotations".

Agree 100%. I hate how you lose access to your abilities.

One of the best things about Guild Wars 2 was that once you unlocked a button, you had it at all times even while sync'd down. Squeenix could really learn a thing or two from that game, there's so many things in that game's designs that this game could immensely benefit from.

SS was pretty garbage though. >_> 8% shield is nothing, especially in low level dungeons.

It's weird how eveyone says they missed it, but when we had it everyone complained that it was useless.

Some people argued that new tanks (who don't have many abilities or even tank stance) will not hold aggro against high level burst synched.
Or just compare dps of lv16 arcanist who has only Ruin, Bio and Miasma VS lv70 synched summoner who has deathflares, akh morns and ruin 4s.
Nor will they survive big pulls because they don't have access to higher tier defence abilities yet. But lv70 synched tanks will survive with their full kit just fine and will pull the whole dungeons.

So there will be a massive difference how this content is run with massive difference in performance.

They ought to normalize the EXP giveout from dungeon enemies so that you still get a good amount of EXP from killing enemies in a sync'd down dungeon.

I tend to groan when I get any of the 1-50 dungeons as my leveling roulette, because getting 1K EXP per kill vs. the 15K-30K per kill from the SB dungeons is pretty terrible.

I hadn't done Level roulette for months, probably over a year, till SB came. From my perspective the lack of high level abilities isn't stopping me from doing it. It's that the bonus isn't incentive enough for Tam-tara roulette when I could run the expert in relatively the same time, if not faster, and get other loot for seals and such. That's still largely the same. Thanks to the story mission being the most run dungeon *and* it drops loot, I'm getting tomes, gil, *and* company seals. The rewards are just not worth it. For me, at least.

And even if I do it under 70, the xp bonus is less than I can get from the most recent dungeon (that needs looked at).

That said Ifrit in Level Roulette is always nice!

It was already boring before SB, I dont want to imagine how boring it will be now..and how many new players are turned away from the game because the jobs will not feel like fun until much later...also I do not want to be a new summoner that has to do all the job quests without sustain..I am not really sure if SE thought about the consequences for some of their job changes for newer players.

Quite sure they will get in trouble for that as they are kicking someone for no valid reason..
