Make S ranks immune to damage after spawning. You did it for Ixion.

Ixion's "immunity" is part of the lore... the whole point of getting the ash in the first place. Sounds more like a personal demand than an actual thought out suggestion. I'm pretty sure feast chat being limited is to avoid players being atomic levels of toxic to each other...

While I've heard of this individual, I haven't seen exactly what it is he does (since I've never particularly cared about Hunts, and the Tiger mount achievement is too ridiculous for me to even begin to care), but if it's just continuously pulling and resetting the Hunt, letting him get slaughtered wouldn't solve much. And if it's an ARR S rank, those can be solo'd with the exception of maybe 1, so. Again, not sure what it is he actually does, but I've seen the /shout chat about him before while out gathering.

Make the hunt enrage rapidly if there are players nearby, but a disproportionate number is not actively engaged in combat with it. Which means, it will promptly chew up the puller if the other players agree to simply watch him die. Simplest solution I can think of.

...and open another way to annoy people.

I'd say it's good as it is. Players can cooperate but they can also try to steal kill from others. I always liked that aspect of MMOs where you could be the bad guy (without breaking ToS). Playing against you doesn't equal to griefing.

Hunts are meant to be competitive. They always have been been. There's no such thing as early pulling because of that. And that's why the devs never punish anyone for doing it.

In a round about way you could technically report people for posting hunt locations on linlshells and waiting for loads of people to turn up. Because there the ones exploiting the system and not doing hunts the way they are meant to be done....

Best thing they could do with hunts is lock them out so only the party / alliance that has attacked the mark can fight it. Anyone else gets invalid target. Kinda like if you try to kill someone else's level mobs it won't let you engage them.

This would actually promote the fact it's meant to be competitive as well as help keep things challenging. Rather than that a brainless throw enough bodies at it till it's dead.

The alternative is that lvl 50 doesn't get a hit on the boss because a group of endgame players charged in and melted it. You can't have open world content be both lvl 50 and endgame at the same time (except fates I guess), and currently, that's what it is.

I actually quite like this idea, perhaps not immune to damage for the sake of let everyone waiting but something to make fights a little more fun and dynamic.

No please. I don't want to see zones crashing because of some mechanic that makes people wait more than they should. Why do you think there's still instances for Ixion and they had to increase the amount of horns?

This is a hunt, it's not intended for everyone to get there and congest the zones.

How do you know he's doing it for kicks?

All it takes is everyone participating in the hunt to be in agreement that if someone pulls early to let them die to the hunt and then kill it when they're dead and so they miss out instead. They will probably rethink their actions if they that happens a couple of times.
