Honestly surprised this thread took the turn that it did. I'd love an option to make Bahamut translucent or even a glamour that makes him small enough to fit on my shoulder, even if neither was designed for the purposes of clutter.

As Brinzy said all that's really needed is to make it a transparent cast. Lower it's opacity to 20% or less, give it some flashy effects, and leave it alone. It'd solve pretty much every issue.
I've mentioned this on the numerous thread related to this subject. The best solution would be to have Bahamut "place" where he was summoned and not following around the summoner until after combat is over, similar to how Garuda works. This way summoner can keep Bahamut as is and player won't have to turn off effects.
if you stack on susano for example even if your cam is far out the fkn drg covers all the players makeing it hard to see mechs wich is why i kind of hate to have a smn in farm partys at times ppl cant see they have a thunder mark on them just give us the option ti make him invisible on my screen unless i want to see him toggle on or of switch pls
As someone with over 20+ clears on Susano/Lakshmi EX, I've never seen anyone complain with summoners in the group nor have issues with line of sight with demi-bahamut out. Unless you are playing nearly all the way zoomed in and don't know how to pan your camera around your character, which you should be doing regardless for upcoming mechanics, it is literally a non-issue.
I play a Summoner and agree something needs to be done about Bahamut's size. Yes I and the rest of the party can spend time trying to change camera angles or we could be doing DPS and worrying about mechanics. Personally I'd rather do the later than the previous.
Bahamut's size isn't really the main issue the amount we can zoom out is the real issue. If players could actually zoom out further then he would never block the screen.
And she just said it's no problem for her so why's your opinion more important than yours? There is no reason to get harsh.
@Clavi:
If you yourself as smn got a problem to deal with his size it's even more questionable because it's you who summon it - you can chose the time, the spot and the angle others are hit by surprise - that's a hugh difference to be fair.
Anecdotal.
We've provided screenshots showing our issues and that we're not zoomed all the way in. Yes we can pan the camera, but as other people have mentioned that's extra work compensating for another class, and every second spent doing that is a second not spent following the fight, doing the mechanics and our jobs.Quote:

I don't see why people are getting defensive, I'm not blaming summoners for doing their job properly and using Neo-Bahamut, far from it. I simply find it gets in the way, others seem to be of the same opinion and we'd like the option to make it invisible or transparent.
