RDM BRD DRG SAM PLD DRK WHM AST right now provides the best teamwork vantage point when building around a RDM.

Thats a strange way to make the ability to be honest.

Im assuming enchanted also removes the piercing attribute otherwise this ability may be more powerful than i gave it credit for.

Yes, the game doesn't have attacks that are two damage types at the same time as far as I know.

So is flèche and contre sixte piercing?

Yes! They are!

The relevant piercing attacks are Fleche, Contre Sixte, Corps-a-corps and Displacement. The rest of the melee combo should never be done unenchanted, so it doesn't matter that it's piercing as well.
