other rp servers on aether?

I'm on Coerl but I believe people should RP wherever they want and RP servers aren't needed. if there were no designated RP servers more servers would have RPers on them rather than being all condensed in one place.

RPers will generally flock to whatever server has the biggest community as it means more RPers, varied RP, and near constant RP events.

As Rokke said: RPers always flock to the biggest RP community so that they have fresh faces and a solid lifeblood of roleplay to interact with. Sure, you CAN RP on whatever server you like, but you'll just be RPing with yourself talking to a wall.

alright well after a long day at work, ive decided to move from balmung to mateus. if anyone from mateus is reading this, im looking for a active late night/pst majority FC to join for rp/non rp. hit me up if i havent found something that tickles my pickle :)

Balmung was setup by the community as a RP server. SE doesn't do anything about this or really care about it. The community as a hole needs to pick a new server and make it happen.

There are RP FCs and linkshells on Jenova as well

There are some Goblin too if anything. Goblin also has some plenty of housing slots for those RPers looking for housing and found out that Mateus has majority of the plots occupied.

Most RP I've seen is centered around Balmung, but I've also seen a fair share of people RPing on Jenova, Faerie, Mateus, and Siren (all Aether).

Since Balmung got closed for transfers, I've seen people on Mateus being the loudest at directing people to their server. There are multiple Free Companies and Linkshells up on the RPC, which I'm sure doesn't contain all of them. They've also got multiple discord groups.
