Multiple times, yes.
I enjoy the increased difficulty. From a lower level perspective, as a SCH, I like not relying on my Eos and once in awhile throwing an Adlo on the tank. I was only level 54 when SB hit and it got pretty boring as a healer. I like fighting to keep my mana up, being an ether addict and using my heals wisely. It adds a flavour in the game that was missing.
Mobs can also direct hit, which is why tanks drop like a bag of bricks.
I like it, i like not being an idle healer, and i like not having excessive amounts of dps time. I'm not bored in duties anymore. The good healers and tanks are really starting to shine out above the rest.
In my opinion it depends on the tank. I've had tanks where I can easily dps, and others where I spam heal to just survive.
It doesn't matter if you "have no problems". It is a fact the damage output is about 20% higher from enemies. Yes, good healers and tankers will never gonna have problems because they simply adapt.
I'm definitely spending more time healing with less opportunity for dps in SB than in HW.... and I'm delighted by it. It's definitely more effort on my part to keep the party healthy, but I am really enjoying it.
Hmm Dunno. To me it's just same old same old. Regen, swiftcast medica2, dots/holy/dps. Use ogcd skills to avoid casting cures. Rince and repeat. I can simply last longer now that we have proper mana management.
The only tense moments I've had as whm is when the tank pulls those two pack right before the wave of bulldogs in Ala Mhigo, those brutes hit hard.
Ex trials with learning parties tend to be hardcore healing though. Once people get the 320 gear and get used to the fights it'll probably be easy.
