A Revisit - Flying Ponies

Because we need more flying mounts?

I guess its not a priority right now, but they might work on it in the future. An example, SE worked on the Bunny Outfit for males, they finished it for two races, this was a while ago, but during the Shanghai fanfest they confirmed that the development for the Bunny Outfit was stopped and that its almost time for them to start working on it.

So I would not be suprised to one day see Pony can fly, but for now there is no news, because they are not working on it.

Tanks mount already fly. If i saw the new black coeurl fly , i not see a reason the new bear and lion not fly too.

I want the primal ponies to fly yes, but I also want them to fly using wings made of light, Pegasus-like wings, semitransparent and multicolored!...

I would not accept anything else but I can't decide how it will be implemented, I hope SE won't come up with another mediocre design!...

Erm, I'd have to say I don't want that. If they do down the winged route, at least for the primal ponies, make them wings based on their element. So watery wings for Enbarr, ice wings for Boreas, lightning wings for Markab, etc. Now, for nightmare and Slepnir, I'm not sure.

In essence, I just want whatever new animation they get for flying to involve their primal elements.

Just encountered a flying bear, and I'm annoyed again.
If they're not going to put forth the effort into creating proper flying animations or justification for why something that shouldn't fly is flying, then leave it grounded.

Ixion, I could deal with. Animations were lazy again (as he should be running with lighning bolts cast behind him the whole time), but at least "Running on lightning" is his thing.
Primal dogs seem to be a riff on Okami, so I shrugged that one off.

When taken together with Syldra, the tank mounts, and the "Diving" mount bollocks though, it just feels like they've gotten extremely lazy with the whole thing, and I'm honestly starting to lose interest in (or rather, actively dislike) mounts as a whole right now.

I REALLY want the primal ponies and Nightmare to be able to fly, but without them adding wings.

I mean at this point, the tank (and the hunt tiger) mounts all fly without any particle effects, you have a sea creature that can also fly in the air. No reason the primal ponies and Slephnir are put off for this long...and we're way long overdue for flying dodo mounts. Otherwise I'm personally a bit miffed with how nonchalantly they're making all these mounts flying when it makes absolutely no sense (even within the realm of reason of final fantasy) but not the aforementioned horses.

They said sleipnir will fly in stormblood... MAKE IT FLY SO !

Didn't SE say they were going to make all the ponies fly? After they made Kirin fly I could've sworn they said they were going to make the rest of the ponies fly but it would take time. Never happened.
