Your join date is June 2017 and your character is low level. I assume this is your first character. So why not make a new character on the Omega (EU) realm instead and enjoy the gift of 15 days free subscription? You get it by leveling to 30 there. The queues are probably shorter because it's a new realm.

It IS frustrating though.

I checked. 1643rd in queue at 18:04. First in queue at 19:05. In game at 19:14.

It's not peak hour, and it's not release either.

Basically the free time I enjoy playing games when I get home from work, I'll have to use on something other than FFXIV because it'll be wasted queuing...

No wonder people try to stay logged in...

You're not getting on Cerberus at any sensible EU time Foxxika. I can tell you that. The queue has been at minimum 700 and maximum 3200 for me since the game went live after the update 3 days ago.

I managed to get on at past midnight for 20 minutes the other night was all. By which time it was too late for me to stay on.

*edit* No I'm wrong. It's at 3700+ now when I've tried to login. So that 3200 was nowhere near as bad as it actually is.

1) This just makes the problem worse. Now you have both an overloaded server and a population paranoid about logging out so take measures that gum up the server even worse and make queue times even longer.

2) With how unstable the servers are, zoning in or out of instances can often cause disconnects. Thanks to a total lack of foresight, there is no grace period for relogging in so such issues will put you straight to the back of the line in the queue.

Can we expect a form of compensation? Like non-paid subscription time. Honestly if SE cannot be bothered to spend extra money on servers why do they expect the player base to queue for a game we pay to PLAY.

I've never been so unhappy to play. I can't even remember HW being this bad. My highest is now 3789 and I know that will be 3hrs at least.

I started at "3,200" (starting to just think it's arbitrary numbers at this point) at 16:40.

It's now 19:00 and I'm at "592."

I mean... I understand congestion due to the new stuff but this seems... excessive.
