Actually none of my time was wasted and life went on as it normally does for me.
I don't personally feel the need to be compensated. I understand that it is only day two of launch and that the devs are trying to fix things. However I reserve the right to be annoyed. I got past the Raubahn boss but I always hold my breath whenever there's an instanced quest... it's a 50/50 chance of being DC'd when you enter it.
This isn't even just affecting the people that pre-ordered the game and got into early access and trying out the new content, it's affecting everybody that nobody can do any form of instanced content, we can only do world content without getting kicked.
Actually, no. You know what an atrocity is? An atrocity is how North Koreans are expected to live. An atrocity is an act of genocide like Darfur or Rwanda. An atrocity is what's happening to LGBT citizens in Chechnya right now.
This? This is an inconvenience to our free time. Take a step back. Breathe deep. Re-evaluate your priorities. Because I am sick by this total lack of perspective.
Words have power Richter. People have been rising themselves into a frenzy over this, and any excessive hyperbole is only going to add to it.
To call this an extremely wicked or cruel act of physical violence or injury, is frankly bordering insane.
And to clear things up, I am holier than everyone here. My overwhelming humility is more than enough proof of that.
If it was only new content that was messed up I don't think they would do anything. I have a feeling since it affects the whole game we will get some free play time.
Um its not "free" time. We pay for a service and it doesn't work .
At the very least, I expect the folks that were affected by the Susanoo bug to be compensated. I'm honestly surprised they didn't announce an emergency maintenance for that.
