Can the job gauges be hidden?

If they aren't there now, that's because they were removed, because they definitely were on the status bar before.

I just use two different layouts. One layout has them off to the side while the other puts them a bit more in focus. I plan on using the former layout while adventuring and the latter while doing dungeons and the like.
I like them but yeah, I can definitely see why people don't.

Edit: Also, that feel when you get to Ul'Dah and realize you totally forgot to register your Stormblood early access. Samurai...so close, yet so...so far.

I'd imagine keeping track of the new way Dragoons work with life of the dragon, summoners tracking dreadwyrm aether trail and RDMs mana balance would be pretty terrible with the statuses clustering the parameter bar. While it may not be needed for some jobs, id say its essential for those 3.

They don't need to be all big and artsy. Just give us a clean, simple option to display our class resource. They are all too gaudy and take up too much room.

Please do a simple bar or something, thanks.

It's a bit sad that they completely removed "option" to, for example track cards on buff bar.

I hate this new gauge, but can't really play without one..

I see people talking about shrinking them. How do you do that?

Also not to hijack but has anyone found a way to get remove of the Scenario Guide?

Scenario guide can be hidden by going to character configuration-->UI Settings-->HUD and then scrolling and turning off main scenario help.

The Job gauge bar and can be resized in HUD Settings.

I want to see two options added to the new Job Gauges.

(1) Hide them entirely, and display the information on the Status Bar where it would have been pre-4.0.
(2) Hidden outside of combat.

I think I might actually be alright with it popping up when I'm fighting, but it's god-awful for wandering around Eorzea. I'm reduced to shrinking its size to the smallest possible and trying to hide it by dragging it as much off-screen as possible.

So just because a few jobs might have a use for something, all other jobs get reduced functionality with a feature to do nothing but remove particular statuses from our status bar where they were useful and instead show them somewhere else along with a meaningless screen-clutter picture behind them. Not a good move.

Please put these buffs back on our status bar with all our other buffs, so we can see everything together in one place where we can keep track of them, like we used to be able to do. Then let people show or hide the new gaudy picture according to whether they like it or not.
