This only mean that they will read the full patch note at that time, not that there will be no preliminary patch note 2 or 3 days before that

Its an excitement builder, and another way for them to interact with the playerbase.

Preliminary notes tend to leave out some information while the full notes got most of those included.

Atleast that's how I remember it.

Yeah, they tend to leave out exact crafting/gathering information in the preliminaries (for good reason, lol). Probably other stuff too, but DoL/DoH things are what I am most interested in.
