Server Transfer Updates?

I hope they understand that letting us transfer before/at early access will be positive for both the players(wont have to transfer in the middle of going through stormblood) and the servers(less congestion during early access release).

Has there been any indication of when the more involved aspects of this program will begin (specifically, the designation of woulds that we can xfer to for free, or the means to refund housing costs during a move)?

Having played the launch of ARR and HW on Gilgamesh it's not an experience I'm looking to repeat, but I also don't want to shoot myself in the foot by acting without having all the details.

With a week left, has anything else been announced?

Anyone know if a server transfer off a legacy world will force you to change your name if you have more than 20 characters in the name? I don't want to have to rename from transfer.
