What AST think about us WHM

Truth be told. I'm sticking to the jobs i feel most comfortable with and make them work for the content i'm running. I was a Paladin when people declared it dead and "not viable for raiding", but i still use it to this day. I was also a Bard when it came to a DPS class and when people declared it unplayable due to WM, i tried to make the most out of the job by learning how to deal with it.
There are still so many Paladins and Bards out there, so they are far from being "dead" in Heavensward. Even in raiding content. So, i guess there are more people who picked those jobs because they really liked it and made those jobs their own. So, why wouldn't it be the same for the jobs in Stormblood?
I'm also playing a White Mage and since it suits my healing style, so even if people declare it dead it won't matter to me. I will still use it as my main healing job and i will make it work for the content i'm playing.
All of the doom and gloom i see on the forums rubs me the wrong way. If you don't like what they are doing with the job changes, that's fine. You have the choice to get the most of it and give constructive feedback to the FFXIV team, so that they tweak/balance the job. You can also decide to play a different job instead. There is no shame in doing so. In the end, you should play the job you like to invest your time and energy in.
But, for the love off all that is holy. The amount of nonconstructive complaining on the forums about job changes, which have yet to be finalized, is really getting out of hand.
The changes they're making to the jobs i'm playing will most likely have a major impact on how the job feels and performs. You could say that i'm scared out of my wits with these changes. Changes are that the jobs themselves will feel different to an extent that i might have to learn how to use them all over again. But, still. I'm going to give it everything i have to master these job changes once they are finalized and released with the expansion, even if it's going to take me long time to do so.
Zhexos has consolidated the threads regarding the white mage changes into 1 thread, so if you have anything to add to the discussion, please post it over at the Consolidated White Mage 4.0 Feedback Thread.
Can't wait for all the butthurt people in 4.1 when SE is doing chances to every class making some of them "not meta" lol
