They said Rescue would only be able to be used on an ally with aggro. So I don't think it'll just be random people.

That's why you gotta take what you need from his threads and make it important on your own. Take his number 2 argument for example. That's actually a pretty legit concern from my POV, aside from the jabs at DRG and BLM. Although probably far and few in between, I can actually see people getting mad at clerics for not using Rescue.
He said "I don\\'t know why they removed Accuracy" has to be troll. (YUGE amount of threads on this)
You really do not know why it was removed? really? it serves no purpose in this game. now PERRY they could of changed it but they kinda are by replacing it with a new stat that kinda fills the purpose.
Of course others bought up the recuse thing so it is troll. (Some threads on this already)
this is one of theese skills that i think will be a double edged sword come the launch, but once people get there kicks down from pulling the tank like mad and people play stormsblood siriously we wont have to worry about hitting ourselves with the blade.
Scenario I guarantee will happen on the first week of 4.0 (especially now that I put it out into the universe).
Titan Trial Roulette, Titan jumps away and the arena is about to fall away. Healer intentionally runs to the edge that's going to fall off, pulls a random party member when they aren't expecting it, kills that random party member, and maybe themselves if they wern't fast enough to move out.
"why did you do that??!?!?"
"because I was trying to rescue you from doing the fight :)"
Anyone have a source where the names are coming from? I assume there are some skill descriptions with the name? Thanks
The ally has to have aggro or be targeted by an enemy AOE. I highly doubt a healer would pull you out of an AOE to put you in another AOE, knowing they would have to heal you because of their mistake
