Minions in the House

The, "not enough housing" issue? That won't ever get addressed. If you mean, "Instanced housing" never going to happen.

I kinda remember Yoshi throwing around that idea a looooooong time ago. Was never acted upon for reasons I no longer remember...

They sort of have the tech for this already. The lord's of verminion section of the gold saucer always has random minions wandering around. They just need to apply it to housing.

Except the gold saucer is a static building they may have manually set the pathing for. If they were to wander free in our houses they'd either have to make us a pathing editor, make the minion detect blocked paths or simply let the minions clip through everything.

That's mostly why I suggested something like an outdoor playpen: so they could create an area where minion pathing could be preset, and then block the area off from putting other housing items inside that space.
