They are no different than this forum IMO. Wait until after stormblood launches and you will see the game isdying because there are no healers or tanks, WHM and PLD are still dead, and thanks for killing monk SE posted all over this forum too. I've found some great information on Reddit too in regard to gameplay. It is another source of information both positive and negative.
my concern with reddit isn't hatred is who has truth about what going on in ffxiv and on in dev team i heard thing like yoshi p make his devs team anger about his hyper around red mage. see i not sure this relyable informations
Doesn't make it any better.
Like I said don't take posts like that seriously. Most of the time things like that get downvoted if it's not true. Most people will give sources for their claims. If the haven't provided a source don't believe it. When using Reddit just don't think everything on there is true same way you would on the official forums. You just need a certain mentality when you go on reddit and not take everything face value.
Lot's of people have different opinions on reddit and that's why I like it because people can criticise the game without needing to worry looking over their back of being banned from the forums. May not be the best criticism and those are the ones you ignore because it's silly.
Mostly I was just being silly, but... You know... Easy target is easy.
Most internet forums you need a good dose of skepticism, especially when people start throwing numbers and emulating Chicken Little, even these forums. It's just that Reddit is particularly known (stereotypical as it may be) for calling most any drop in sub numbers the "downfall of the game as a whole."
Moral of the story, "Welcome to the Internet and be mindful of which cake you decide to eat lest you choose the wrong one."
