Yes, this. As someone that didn't even know FFXIV existed until just after ARR released, I would genuinely be interested in playing through 1.x just to experience it.

How much of a discount do do Legacy players get and is it for the subscription only or other stuff like Retainer services and Mog Station purchases?

It's already in the game, I have it. Plus, it isn't a tattoo per se.

You can get it easy.

1) Invent a time machine
2) Go back to June 2012
3) Buy a copy of FFXIV 1.0, either version is fine
4) Create an SE account (optional if you already had one)
5) Purchase 90 days of playing time
6) Leave the account name and password where your current day self will find it

Alternatively, drop this idea. Your character was not present at The Battle of Cartenau, therefore you were not teleported away by Louisoix and were not marked by the magic used.

I understand people want it because it's special, part of that is it's rarity. Adding in a way to get it now, removes that and destroys its meaning.

A request for other tattoos would get a thumbs up from me.
