Back Once Again, Overwhelmed.

I recommend doing the the clan hunts from ishgard. Highly recommend it. You'll be able to purchase item lvl 200 gear to set up the min you hit 60 to start in on the rest of the msq quests

Not anymore, we switched to tome stones of scripture a while ago, can't remember the exact date. These are the so called "current" and "highest" tomes that are normally capped at 450 a week.However with lasts patch they increased that cap to 900 a week. A ilvl 260 chest/pant piece is 825 tome stones of scripture, head/hands/boots 495, belt and accessories are 375. With the cap increased it's possible to get the chest/pants right at the start instead of having to wait 2 weeks.

Tome stones of lore are not behind the weekly lockout anymore (tome stone amount is the same as the scripture gear 895/495/375) and therefore a really good thing to stock up on, or easier to stock up on. And yes with that time you're having on hand, you should have no problems gearing more then one character. To save even more time, you could open up a party finder at level 60 and speed run, palace of the dead floor 51-60, that takes with a good group around 5 - 8 minutes since you're not going for the chests or cleaning out all enemies. Reset and repeat.

But it's also possible to do with just the duty finder, just might take up to 15 minutes a run, but again that's way faster then queue for dungeons if you're not a tank or healer, running the dungeon itself, wipe maybe once or twice, and get half of the tomes out of that. In my opinion not worth it if you're just looking for the tomes and gearing, but still an option if you chose that.

Thanks to the generous support of all of you. I now have a good idea as to what I need to be doing. I am now Lvl 58. I plan on hitting 60 today or tomorrow and start racking up the tomes for RDM and MNK/SAM late game gear so I can cruise into Stormblood.
