I agree with the OPs point. GD is getting appalling. Square should encourage the use of the Lodestone blogs.

Oh I agree with that but it's more appealing to the customers if you announce patches every 2-3 weeks apparently, should just name it hot fixes because that's what it is besides the 5 story quests that lead to the expansion.

In a stream Naoki mentioned that, the reason for the a and b parts, was a bug that couldn't be fixed in time, so they split the update into an a and b part. Once the bug is fixed, they would release b..

Pretty sure it was already ready wasn't much in the patch and what would of changed nothing bit we don't need a bunch of patches with next to nothing just make them into one patch.
