I have done all this. I'm sorry you don't understand it, but maybe when you have a player sit in your house afk for hours at a time, or follow you from zone to zone, using the IN GAME PSN function that appears on your character screen to harass you offline, you'd probably get it. It's been happening for over a year. There is 0 protection against it because the TOS is so lenient with harassment to a degree, trust me, I've seen worse go on for YEARS before a Perma ban happened. They got to a point where I threatened to report it and took it offline to avoid being banned. I can't login without being followed around. GMS don't even read what I say. They see the words out of game and immediately my entire ticket is killed with a copy pasted reply.

Be sure to ask the judge about in-game harassment when you get the restraining order.

Or how about the multiple toons they make. So they can follow me on others? It's an annoyance. One I have a right to be upset about.

If they know your forum name they can see your other characters (click someone's name and click view profile), but I don't think you can see other characters from the lodestone - I think.

It's bad, since block works on a character and not an account. I've been stalked in-game before. Have someone that twice now has told people I was RPing with to "watch out for that one". First time she stalked me at a FC event, second was during Wintersday when we randomly crossed paths running the event. Don't underestimate the harassment someone can do without doing it directly to you.

Do not include anything to do with out of game issues then. The only thing they police is in game issues. I would report whatever it is they're doing that you feel is abusive in-game and through the psn (if utilizing the game to do it, I don't use the ps version so not sure what that's capable of). I would also contact Sony support in regards to harassment over PSN.

While I don't have any real advice to offer beyond server transfer, I can appreciate how shitty that is. I had a similar situation happen some years ago in another game. I know it's easy for people to say it isn't a big deal but it gets insufferable when a game you once shared becomes something to be dreaded on a regular basis. I hope this person finds something else to obsess over soon or some action in taken in your favor, keep your chin up.

Block them on psn?
Do not missunderstand me, I am genuine curious how they are harrasing you.
You have a serious problem that I just can not fathom.
So my questions and ponderings are not in the form of "omg, who cares, just ignore and go", but more of a " I do not understand, please enlighten me if you can".
Now, I understand that you got enough on your plate, so if you do not wish to explain a stupid person like me how all of this works, that is cool by me.

Why is someone sitting afk in your house a problem?
Is it not possible to lock the house? (I do not own a house, so no idea).
Do you not spend a lot of time in instances where they can not follow you?
Have you tried to get mobs to aggro them and watch them die over and over again?
Is switching servers not feastable? Or starting on a new account?

You can close your house to everyone but yourself but you can't lock out just 1 person.

Exactly. I'm about 5700 hours invested into this game, my family, and the few friends I have left. If I have to leave, it's going to be permanent. If people can access lodestone, fine, let them. But they SHOULD NOT be able to have me added if I block them, which they do. I've even tested it myself with my wife, it works.

What I think you're not seeing Quar, is that the player is HARASSING ME offline, while following in game doing harmless things that to a GM arent bannable. Hence me saying they are abusing a loophole, knowing the gms cannot touch them. I can avoid my social media, I can't avoid a player following me in game when they always know where I am, at all times because they still have me added. I am being taunted in a way, into reacting in game. Like as youre suggesting, aggroing mobs to them, or any other form of aggression that will then turn into ME being the bad guy.
