I think it's a great idea, and would be fun to enjoy. But the price jump is astounding to really be able to take full advantage of it.

I'd like to give it a shot, but since I've never actually seen 3D, I don't know if my bad eyesight would allow me to actually see it, and upwards of $150 is kinda steep for a maybe. I also don't know if my HP 2009m LCD is compatible, so that's another expense.
I'd bet it looks cool though.
Haven't tried with the 3d vision set up yet as they are rather expensive, however, I have played monoscopic 3d (or is it stereoscopic? The one with the green/red glasses) and it even looks good with the lack of color quality due to the poor glasses.
