Been having the same bad luck from 7 and 13, could it be that it was removed from those sectors?

I've gotten that feeling for sure. Been getting 1-2 alumen out of 4 ships the past 4 runs doing 4/7 (only getting it from 4) as opposed to none for months doing 7/13.

I suppose I should explore more to see if it drops elsewhere now.

I'm also having no luck getting them. I'm not at home to check (pretty sure 3 of them are going 7/13), but I will make sure all my ships are running through sector 4 from now on.

In addition to this, I was happily farming shrub seedlings and for the last 2 weeks I may get one or two back a week. Used to be 6-8. I wonder if coding was accidentally or intentionally changed for the upcoming Diadem..

Sector 4 is definitely the way to go. One ship just pulled in 1 NQ and 1 HQ from only going after sector 4 today so they changed it for sure.

I've done a series of explorations from sectors 1-15 minus 4/7/13 and there were no changes in drops apart shown on the main airship thread, so I just have a feeling 7/13's drops went awry.

That being said I got 8 fine alumen today from just punching sector 4, so it's not that bad not finding higher yield sectors.

Just adding confirmation, got my first Fine Alumen since patch from sector 4 over the weekend.

Been getting a few from 4, though it's been spotty for me (yay rng). Switched most back to materia still to have some supply for our crafters when the expansion hits, but still have our people carrier out hunting for it until Diadem hits!
