blessed pickaxe impossible to get?

As I am sure you are all aware, the hotfix notes covered this issue. They recognize it exists, it is not fixed yet, and they ask for our patience.

The way I see it, these achievement tools are merely another way of obtaining i200 MH tools. I've long since crafted my i195 MH/OH tools, along with the rest of my i190 gear, and melded it all besides, but I can certainly see a use for an up-and-coming Miner/Botanist (at least once they get the Miner issue resolved).

The stats are the same as the already existing i200 - best in slot until you try melding the crafted gear.

SO i was trying to get the Mining Axe today and when i was @ 123/160. i counter that i have 29 more items to find. but when i finished my Mining Log. i was stuck @ 152. so its some of the items in the 51-60 +r folklore nodes that arnt being counted.

Do you need some folklore items to hit the 230 on BTN?

yes you do need the folklore

Exactly. Not everyone will be looking at these with an eye to glamour. They are still very good stats for an up-and-coming gatherer.

You actually need 231 for Botanist. At 230 it'll show you've achieved it, but it's really 231 before you can get the new tool.

They fixed that with the last hotfix, as well as fixing the crafting ones. If you already have the required number for the achievement, you just need to go gather/craft anything and it will unlock now. Mining is still borked since there aren't enough items to actually get the achievement at all right now.

If you collected all 154 nodes before today's hot fix, seems you still can't get the blessed pickaxe. I think we won't be able to get the pickaxe, unless SE add more items before 4.x in that case.

EDIT: You can get it if you just collect any item you gathered before.

I thought those tools were the glowing ones in the trailer, but I just got the miner achievement and the tool doesn't glow. :(
I am disappointed now. >_<"
