Odin is a mystery right now and many of the current clues point east for the answer.
I would not be surprised that when we reach the Doma area one of the questlines might deal with Zantetsuken and its black armored wielder Raiden.

Oh Raiden will definitely be involved. And I also don't think Yojimbo will be far behind either.

You know, I have been thinking. What if something under Doma castle was the target of the Garleans in Othard all along? Once they knew where to look a double agent orchestrated a Doman revolt that of course had to be put down. And there you have it. A nice Eikon related artifact. Bonus points for being related to an actual Eikon.
