Why do people keep assuming gc restrictions will be moved? In upcoming patch for partyfinder, even across multi-server, notes say nothing about friend/potential members no longer having to be in the same GC for FL.....unless I just missed something.

Gouten (the gold horse) belongs to Garo, The Golden Knight. Ginga (The silver horse) belongs to Zero (the ninja armor from the event) and the huge one whose name escapes me belongs to Kiba (the dark knight)
If Amemiya has a say in things, he will try to at least have gaining Gouten fit in theme with how Garo obtains Gouten. I.E kill 100 horrors and face the trial of inner shadows. Most likely, you will get Gouten by getting 100 kills in PVP. That's my guess for the gold horse at least. Ginga maybe 200 kills and dark horse mcbirdtail...well idk about that.
It was announced previously in a live letter that GC restrictions are being removed as a test for what they have planned for 4.0 as seen here.
Exactly this.
If I remember correctly, the reasons they gave were that they wanted to take PvP in a different direction with the expansion with more diverse varieties of game modes which would be more difficult to achieve with GC restrictions in place ... I would assume that means that we can expect to see two sided Frontlines come 4.0, but they haven't said anything definitive yet. I know that Capture the Flag has been the most requested mode since FL first came out, so that would be my first assumption. They could also be going with a more MOBA styled lane push, since that would work with only two teams instead of three, but we won't know for sure until 4.0 ...
Of course, this decision had absolutely nothing to do with queue times being total crap. The fact that queue times would get better is just a happy coincidence, of course.
