Square Enix, why is this year's Heaventurn the same as last year's?

I would like it if it turned into a tradition every year. I enjoyed those fates a lot last year, glad to have a chance to do them again.

Meh. I cant say it's particularly interesting but at the same time I wasn't expecting a lot and the Starlight festival was fun. I always take these festivals as small filler stuff.

What I find more annoying isn't the fact they repeated it - its that the the content can be rehashed into the Gold Saucer so it can be used all-year around. Imagine the current event's FATE being turned into a new GATE or a new mini-game that you can play with a few people with scoring (who gets the most before everyone dies wins etc).

All of the seasonal events have been lackluster since the first 1 or 2 cycles of events. Not surprised by this at all.

I got to see Jiro again so it was all good.

Free stuff or not, they should put more effort into them like they used too. The events were great in the beginning but now they are just meh.
