They did add in a Bowie reference after his death. Tbh I'm surprised that the hairstyle isn't available already.

I support the idea OP, her hair is iconic and it's a nice gesture towards the woman who played a big part in defining the original trilogy, if we can have two characters named biggs and wedge for 8 games what harm is a hairstyle going to do? -

Pretty sure the "Stardust" attack name was implemented way before Bowie passed away since his death was merely one month before that dungeon was released and the localizers don't really do stuff at the last minute I think. Regardless, a name from a song is nothing more than just that while trying to put in a fictional character's hairstyle because of a RL actress that passed away can be seen as mocking or cashing in by others. Not to mention the news JUST dropped, OP, and you're asking for a hairstyle after Carrie's Star Wars character now? That's pretty tasteless and thoughtless even if that wasn't your intention. No one is going to take the side buns hairstyle in game or out of game seriously (it looks pretty ridiculous) and it's not even associated with Carrie herself, but rather a CHARACTER she played on film.
This isn't even the first time someone asked for a memorial to be put in game for someone who died and honestly, the developers have better things to do than to be making virtual graveyards and memorials for people that others may not even know about. -
