Huh. 18+27+54 = 99. What melee DPS did the last 1% in season 1 and 2 play?
Likewise, ranged DPS in S3 sum up to 101%. I suppose every 100th game has two ranged DPS?
IMA let you finish SE, but that's not how per-cent works.

The point is tiramisu thinks jp arent aware of what is good/op/broken which is wrong. They know that mnk is in fact the best melee etc. when someone from a jp dc plays a blm instead of mch that doesnt mean they dont know that mch is "better" its just means they are more comfortable with blm and dont see the reason to switch the class since they climb with the "inferior" class quiet easily because of their skill.
Their census is a failure because people like me are playing multiple jobs in PvP, yet they choose only 1 for their roughly 100% charts. How did they decided if I was a WAR or PLD? A WHM or a AST? I did the same number of matches for both of these jobs.
I guess they just took Top 100 and checked what player's current job is at the time of census, even if he doesn't do PvP on that job.
So they saw DRK was 10%, reworked/buffed it, and it became 9% in Season 3. On the other side it's weird to see SMN, agruably the weakest ranged now, to actually rise after nerfs; but I don't see them winning a lot, all top tier ranged are MCHs/BRDs.
This topic was discussed many times, but your overall damage doesn't matter much. Only bursts/kills matter. Whats the point of weak DoTs if they are easily healed through? Just like 600k healing over match doesn't matter if a healer can't keep people alive during bursts. Your fluffed, baned damage don't win the match, only kills/dropped medals wins. That's why all top tier ranged are MCHs and some BRDs, with summoners nowhere to be seen in Top50.
