I spent a few hours testing this and the current ratio of effective cure when (you are lvl 50 and your target is lvl 50 AND both have pugulist healing +10 trait):
1healing potency has the same effect as 2.667MND
this means if you equip a 10 healing potency hat you will have the same avg cure as equipping a hat with 26MND.
The tricky part in figuring this out was that adding healing potency does nothing to your stat window except effect healing potency. BUT MND has a dual affect adding MND increases the power of your cures by around .25 per MND but is also increases healing potency every +5MND.
Bottom line: 1healing pot = 2.667MND
EDIT: Another very interesting thing to note and this affects all dmg types in my opinion is that when you find your range of possible values based on stats the likelyhood of getting any number in your range is equal. In FFXI you could influence your RNG by adjusting certain stats where in FFXIV I feel that if your range of possible non crit cures is say 950-1000 then you are equally likely to get any of those cure values and this makes it very easy to calculate the avg cure w/o doing extensive testing and just conclude that 975 is the avg assuming the min is 950 and max is 1000

This data falls right in line with everything I posted above, I have some testing of myself but my parser can't filter out crits so it skews the data, when you crit a cure there is nothing special posted in the log. I might filter out when the cure value goes over a certain threashold for myself when I crit I hit C3's around 1200

I think instead of adding normal healing value, the other direction is adding "magic crit rate". Just like melee adding crit att rate can increase damage per unit of time, adding magic crit rate will help some. So, I think not filtering out crits is good and more completed data. However, magic crit materia still expensive ^^:
while + earth magic pot is not bad... use stoneskin with lots earth magic pot can prevent got knock back by ifrit and create healing discontinue time to the tank. :D However, it must fully block the 450-500 dmg of that move. defender 2 + garnet earrings x2 + electrum circulet (fire resist one) can do 95% complete block... only sometimes Ifrit is too angry or stoneskin fluctuate to the low value will get single digit dmg and get knock back ^^:
