Lol just had the thought of a WHM fighting ifrit exploding randomly in a huge holy explosion and losing all of his/her MP and causing a wipe.

anyway, im starting to wonder who will out damage who.

i dont see any sign of BLM being the greater nuker since there isnt any "increase magic damage" abilities.

also, WHM has access to nukes, non gimped heals, non gimped buffs ( SS and PROT) and an ultimate attack, which BLM only has a few basic nukes, wouldnt WHM be the all around desired mage class since it can do everything now leaving BLM virtually useless (in comparison)?

THM/BLM looks like it can combo Fire spells to cast significantly quicker so the damage adds up. The Thunder line looks like it focuses on magic crits which is also a significant boost to damage. I do think THM gets more INT than CNJ does too.

Edit: Also BLM gets a Thunder spell that finishes a combo and does more damage at lower HP. So you can abuse Convert's leaving you with Low HP ;)

abuse converts? are you assuming convert wont be on a 30 min cool down? even if it were a 10 min cool down i wouldnt exactly call it the ability to abuse lol

Hey if you avoid AOE/don't take hate you can keep your HP as low as you want =P I think convert might be on maybe a 5 minute timer, it depends on how fast BLM goes through its MP.

People already did it in 11 for the sorcerer's ring, although that was 75% hp or less that triggered it.

Keep in mind we haven't even seen any of the TRAITS yet.

I actually think that refers to the targets HP not yours.
