Deep Dungeon top floor reached solo by a job (Week 1)

It is not that hard on a 99/99 WAR at least.

I did it earlier with relative ease and 5mins 30sec remaining. All you have to do on the boss is bait the puddles along the edge and go in the middle for fear itself as soon as he drops the 4th one, then rinse and repeat for the entire fight. He hits harder than the floor 30 version because of the cleave and the cast for fear itself is shorter but aside from the that its the same thing.

With the load of potions you get and self heals, its doable.

I can't speak for the later floors yet ( will try 131-140 solo tonight )

That's the OP's point, it's even in the part of the sentence that you didn't quote. "Sadly, it looks like Floor 130 boss is unpassable and the final floor for all jobs without sufficient self-healing"

Every character can do it solo if the player put more time into the character to make him stronger (learning more than just 1 job)

What? How will this help in POTD since you can't change the job you're doing the run with ?

Of course it's not hard on a WAR, even I can do it and I don't even play a WAR

but I know a couple of people who can speedrun Dark Souls series with lv1 character and even they say 130 is not possible on a melee/ranged solo.

when you die at 130, you can change jobs.

I don't see anyone getting past 180.

you are giving this advice to the top players in the world? did you try solo potd past floor 100?

i think he/she means getting cross-class skills...that's obviously going to make drg/mnk/nin, pass floor 130...

The issue is that Halers and Tanks can put out decent damage and have massive sustain. DPS put out damage (which also requires a tank to do their best) but have zero sustain....

I don't see how even the people who say that healer and tank damage is fine as it is (which I agree) would say that this is in anyway balanced. Arn't their supposed to be ups and downs to selecting something? Where is the downside to some of these jobs?

I would say heals especially need looking at, they are far too strong imo.

most dd classes would only require probably 1 or 2 more selfheals to clear 130, or lower the cd of second wind, bloodbath or max-pots by 30 sec

that would be enough imo
