Does hallowed ground have animation lock?
Hallowed and Benediction have effect delay which is funny to see.
I don't really see a problem with animation lock, all the frontline DPS have one and as long as you are familiar with the fight you can use it often, if not every time it's on cooldown.
Last nights A11s was funny because of animation lock on the DRKs plunge ability, spin crusher to the face!!!
While it can be argued that it's unnecessary for skills like Jump which get used dozens of times over the course of a fight, creating many points of failure, it's a bit useless to compare it to Assassinate. You only get around 1-3 uses of Assassinate over the course of the fight and provided you line it up with your buffs, it still leaves you with a MASSIVE window to find a safe GCD to use it on. Assassinate is not something you have to press as soon as the button lights up. That said I don't really agree on removing the Jump animation lock either, just so others can suffer as I have suffered.
isn't that the whole point of the skill? to weigh up when is safe to use and when not to, and not just jab the button whenever you feel like it
You guys would have hated the game in 1.0 (after the battle adjustments toward the end).
I for one would like to see a few more animation locks. I love love LOVED the animations in 1.0. They were beautiful and smooth.
Animation lock is pointless.
Jump could have you adjusting the landing spot after you jump from the enemy, same thing for Assassinate.
They just put these things in the game and now don't wanna remove for whatever reason.
