Why do Prototype chest pieces still take 4 weeks to obtain?.

Lockouts in this game become really weird. I can't get 250 body from normal, I couldn't get 260 weapon even if I had an item from a10s (need 1000 tomes), but yesterday I got 275 mch weapon and 270 body from a12s.

Well, I mean you got lucky lol. If you had back luck like me it would take 16 clears to get the stuff you needed XD. (I still have 0 left side drops for my main during prog...gordias, midas now creator lol)

It was worse back in the coil days. I remember my group got 9 dragoon chests in t...whatever it was. Never saw the healer chest in t4. On t6 IIRC all we got was tank drops every single time... Healer drops were extremely rare for my group.

edit: worse because there were no books to save up for gear

it would've cost you to be able to craft it yourself and the mats aren't free. and because of specialization most crafts can not have all the mats made by yourself. and if you did craft it yourself, using it and not selling it also costs you.

I may be wrong but isn't the highest ilvl requirement at 235? So you actually choose to go to 260 or 270 but it is not an actual requirement especially since RF and DF just match you with random players that in a lot of cases just get in because they meet the minimum requirement. But I may be completely wrong here.

I can't say I mind. I have 6 jobs i regularly play that need gear. More loot!
