Books

It shames to me say, I never actually went looking for them in Japanese, hmmmskkk!!!

There is an FFXII manga... I don't like it tho

I'd like a concept art book and a general lore book, and a ffxiv guide to come out with PS3 release like the FFXI ps2 guide, not the best guide, helped lowbies, more for sentimental value later on.

at least FF books wouldnt contain any lame cow people in their stories! (looking at you WoW >.>)

in game would be cool. there should be some books in that temple in the northeast of thanalan.

They do own Manga and Anime, it would not be all to much of a stretch..

Exactly what I thought as well. In his defense, Skyrim is amazing.

If they did make a physical book, I think it would be cool to incorporate it into XIV as kind of an easter egg. Make it so the book is divided up into 50 or 100 different scraps and throw them all across the world of Eorzea in different means. 10 could be simple ???s, another 10 could be awarded through doing certain quests, another 10 could be dropped of weird monsters in different corners of the world. If you collect all the 'pieces' to the book in-game, you can redeem it for a virtual/physical copy of the real book. Just a thought :P
