What's this? Players being bad? No way. I wonder when the game will ever get content that slowly brings skill level into play!
But seriously, I've seen more fails in DF through the NA Data Centers than I have JP Data Centers.

10 is easier.you can do 95% of that fight without even moving. Except for positionals It's black mage heaven lol. Only time you ever need to move is for the steam roller thing.
The biggest problem with 12 is people don't stack makes it horrendous on the healers. When the guy with the stack marker is running all over the place and everyone else is on Alex's ass waiting for him.
If 9 out of 9 groups you're in fail the duty, well then... statistics will give a pretty good idea of what's to blame, won't they?
I had a bad time the first time I ran A12 on my main. It took multiple groups to get a clear and hours one afternoon sort of similar to what the OP is describing. Since then I've cleared it 7 additional times on my main and alts week one and two and my experience was totally different. Seems A11 can be a bit harder to clear than A12 but over all the groups did fine. We have a wipe of two and one group in particular couldn't get past the dps check which resulted in a vote abandon.
It's a fun fight and I'm glad it's challenging.
I've queued solo for all my A12 in DF and never had such bad luck. It is 100% doable in DF. You've just had some incredible bad luck. Stay strong and you'll get it.
PUG's in the DF can be stupid as F. It's thi s game afterall, where players can't take the time to either learn their 'main properly or complain on day 1 about a fight being too hard and needing a nerf. (Maybe a harsh post, but it's true).
This again... My experience this week was actually a bit similar to yours, i was farming it for a "crank" and i did have to do many runs. Some of them because of bad groups other because of bad Rng for "my" crank.
Yes it isnt an easy fight comparing to other bosses. Yes it is harder than the others in my opinion (wink you trolls ;p) but perfectly doable. For me the difficulty is just right for the end of Alexander normal mode. Its a fun fight, the time travel thing gave it a nice touch, shows Work from the devs. I wouldnt change a thing at the moment. Just my opinion ;)
