It's 2011 and some of the most popular games are indie games that aren't even more advanced than games that were released back in the late 90s by commercial companies.
Why do you people think "it's xxxx year" is a valid argument for anything?

Yeah okay Troll Trollerson.
The option to see 1 or all action bars should already be in this game. I shouldn't have to target something, then hit enter, then press up or down on my gamepad/keyboard to be able to scroll to different sets of action bars. Especially since targeting is so wonky in this game 9 times out of ten I am using targeting mode b, which requires me to press up or down to change targeting modes.
So when say Ifrit does a dash, I lose focus on my action bar end up pressing up to change to action bar but realize my targeting mode was changed. It. Is. Retarded. I shouldn't have to toggle to different action bars. Period.
I shouldn't have to wait for someone to come out with a UI plugin either, Yes I can code my own, by why the hell should I? Also keep in mind many people wont be able to code one.
@technolust +1 for using the name troll trollerson made me laugh, for some reason i instantly thought of turd ferguson from the celebrity jeopardy skits from snl...
Then its fine. I took bad idea from the screen, please these who call me troll go troll somewhere else. And this thread can be closed.
Thank you Betelgeuzah for put the things in the right place.
that and not being able to keybind abilities to letters sucks big time.
E is sooo embedded into my brain as Taunt that i refuse to tank until i can keybind letters.
oh that and subtargets. wtf is the point? you gotta hit your F keys for your target both in and out of subtarget anyway.... only subtarget adds a few more un necessary button pushes..... just lame i tellsya.
I don't see the point in having more than 1 bar on the screen at a time until they let you bind any key to anything, including action buttons. But yes, they really need to make this happen sooner or later. The only thing a bandage fix like adding multiple bars at a time would do is make gamepad users or clickers a little happier for a bit at the cost of leaving keyboard/mouse users in the dust. A possibly easier fix for keyboard/mouse users would even be to just seperate the switch action bar hotkeys from the up/down select functions in the hotkey menu. that way we wouldnt have to reselect our target every time we wanted to switch bars.
