Version check error PS4

Still looking for a Ps4 fix. Apparently the wait period didn't work either. So frustrated and angry. Is there any other possible solutions that weren't mentioned in the previous posts?

I feel you I am having this same thing it is BS when my friend is on playing no problem and they are on ps 4

Tried that. Does not work.

this version check error is bs. tried 2 other backups have one from a year ago and same problem wont let my pc update. keeps giving errors. been trying for 3 hours and nothing is working. changing BootVersionCheckMode 0 to 1 doesn't help makes it worse now getting another really long error code along with them now. using back up and trying to reinstall doesn't work ether.

im on ps4 too. i can put in my login details, then it will say that it was unable to complete the version check. been trying to make my ps4 detect the update available for about 4 hours now. other friends on ps4 can get in and download the patch just fine. im so insanely pissed.

thanks pal, i just dont wanna even bother reinstalling it because that doesnt seem to have worked for others either. its honestly just a damn waiting game now. i was gonna have a fun night with friends but im literally the only one in the group who cant get in..

We are having the exact same issue. 3 of us are on ps4, 1 is on the PC, and 1 is on PS3 :(

im praying that this will be solved by the time i wake up tomorrow bc i cant see this being fixed anytime soon..

I'm on PS4 and was having the sane issue. Someone on reddit suggested that for PC you could log in from a different IP address and that would help the launcher update. I tried it on my PS4, by tethering to my phone as a Hotspot as reddit dude suggests, and it worked.
