Why not unlock the weeping city of mhach? I'm pretty sure you can get an item to trade in for materia V once per week (unless they removed the limit)

If it's how I'm imagining it, and depending on the server capacity, it may or may not be a race to purchase an apartment space in a desired location.
I'm no good at math, but I'm going to make an attempt to calculate all the open apartment spaces with my calculator software. This is an open invitation to all you math whizzes to correct my mistakes. Okay, here we go:
There are 3 residential districts. Each residential district has 12 wards, and every ward has 2 divisions.
There will be an apartment zone in all three districts, in all 12 wards, all of which has 2 divisions.
So that means, there'll be 24 apartment zones in each of the 3 districts. 24 X 3 = 72. There'll be a total of 72 apartment zones to choose from.
Each apartment zone houses up to 90 tenants. 90 X 72 = 6,480 tenants total per server.
Did I do that correctly?
Everyone does have the right to enjoy every aspect of the game, some just need to work harder for that enjoyment. Learning mechanics of Extreme primals, Savage etc and not wait for others to carry them through it.
And I think 500k gil for an apartment is a decent price for a gil sink to remove some of that money flow ingame.
it's 90 apartments per ward and subdivision, while this might still sell out in a day or two on very heavily populated servers Yoshi-P has specifically stated they can bump it all the way up to 500 apartments per ward and subdivision if and once neccessary.
You really don't have to worry about getting ahold of an apartment, if the price is an issue then it's on you I'm afraid. It's really not hard at all to scrounge up 500k, housing primarily exists as a money sink anyway.
Buy an FC room for 300k? Sure they'll work the same way.
They removed the limit on gear and pennies (To trade for upgrade items), but the restriction on V Materia trades is still in place.
Anyway, can we just like, report and have trolling, junk threads like this removed? They serve no purpose and just complain about not having everything handed to them on a silver platter.
I was able to save up enough gil for an apartment just doing my roulettes for a week leading up to the patch. There's nothing hard or restrictive in the slightest about that price, unless you were to buy everything off NPCs or the market board, and never did quests or dungeons or anything.
And if that's your idea of "Playing the game", then...
Yes, you did.
Furthermore, they're going to eventually expand to up to 500 apartments in each apartment building if there's enough demand for them. A potential max of 36,000 apartments.
This is pretty much their solution to the housing problem since adding more wards and subdivisions isn't practical.
I don't think getting one is too much of a problem.
Yay, my worries are put to rest.
