[Request] Weather effect enabled Orchestration rolls!

Found a place through youtube called 'virtualdreamer.com'. Love the rain and distant thunder stuff.

Now that fanfest is over and they keep saying to post on forums what we want... Anyone else wanna back this idea up for orchestration roll filter to add weather to it?

This is a good suggestion imo! There are other songs I'd like to see implemented first, but otherwise this would be such a lovely detail for setting the mood in the game from certain local orchestrions!

Since 3.5 is doing more rolls... bumping to see if more could agree on this idea.

Nah, I'm not for it. Seems like a neat idea but I'd like to have the music stay untouched.It's like when people put on headphones, they're trying to drown out the world. At least thats how I see it.

I don't know about overlaying the music, but just having ambient sounds as their own orchestrion scrolls would be a nice feature.

Here's a short list of sounds they could start with:
-Rain/thunderstorms
-Blowing Wind
-Waves on a beach
-Crickets chirping at night
-Morning birds chirping

Ambient sounds would indeed be nice.

One thing, If SE would only do "Music off" MEANS music off! Not just the default music playing.

I like it. It would make crafting relaxing. I actually seek thunderstorm zones for crafting marathons.

Imagine being in your home and you can set it to Bentbranch music... during a rain or thunderstorm! That would really make that fireplace sofa seem like a comfy spot to be at or while crafting!

Would anyone else like to see weather effects be an option to orchestration rolls? :)

An Eorzean white noise machine.... uh yeah let's do this.

This would be pretty cool to have an ambient sound option for the orchestrion. It would be even cooler if you could switch it so that not only would the sounds play alongside the music, but they could play by themselves as well.

Either way, I think it would be pretty awesome to have thunder in the background of Footsteps in the Snow. >.>
