is the dark knight that hard to heal at lvl 50-60 ...

As a Scholar, the only thing I hate about DRK is dealing with Living Dead because it'll probably eat up at least two of my Lustrates and Emergency Tactics. Other than that, there is nothing DRK can't do that the other two tanks can't, specially in trash pulls. As someone else said earlier, if you're using Dark Arts and Abyssal Drain when Blood Price is up you shouldn't have much trouble keeping yourself up.

If your point of comparison is Main Scenario roulette... I'd put the blame on healers who get overconfident and don't pay enough attention cause they're used to just steamroll through that particular dungeon. If your gear is not capped in stats they might not see a lot of incoming damage coming, but you also said someone else told you you're the tankiest DRK they've met, so...

I think you've just had bad luck with Duty Finder. My suggestion as a fellow tank player is that you use the first one or two pulls in a dungeon to gauge the healer you get, and then adjust your playstyle accordingly!

It's about cycling your defensive accordingly so that you don't get 100-0 in a split seconds and be mindful that healers only have few instant cast heals while you're running off pulling. Also DA + DD does wonders in mass trash pulls.

1) Know how many cooldowns to use (depends on group composition/dps ability to aoe/healer) -> if you get a blm and a smn/brd/whatever who know how to aoe it's one story, if 2 ninjas who don't it's an entirely different story. Pulls will be dying slow, you'll run out of cooldowns maybe, maybe not. Manage that part.
2) Gear. First HW dungeon felt hard for me as a DRK who didn't change half of his gear, was much easier on WAR after when I had more/was better prepared. Literally was THAT bad for one or two runs.
3) DON'T DA passenger and blood price the same time. more evasion->less hits taken->less mp regened -> less DA'd AD. Not cool bruh. DA dance is a questionable choice but sometimes is ok. Oh, and make sure you don't have mobs hitting you from all sides simultaneously. http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...at-tanks-make.
