End-game questions

Palace of the Dead pre HW is a great way to get an I235 weapon level up and make gil through the material V practice your job to some degree.

The only weapons I know of is the high allagan Craft ones. The glow dyes on those.

You can preview how any dye looks without actually needing to have the dye.

I just got +30 in aethereal gear from Palace. I'll save that for my Dark Knight.

In the upcoming patch will the highest grade gear be i250?

Likely to be i260 (Savage and upgraded tome gear, Savage weapons i265). Since current tomestone of Lore will be removed from weekly lockout, you'll also be able to farm full i240 in the beginning of patch without touching any new content.

Yeah I don't know what I was thinking. :D Since previous Alexander tier gear was i210 and current is i240, the next one is likely to be i270 (and i275 for weapons).

Wow, that's really high. Does anyone else think this is the case too? Also how do you "upgrade" tomestone gear of lore (or future Scripture)?

Well I got to ilvl 130 in 3 weeks of playing. Hopefully I can catchup before then. I hate being left out of the 60 content.

Theres a merchant in the zone where you spend the lore/scripture tomes who exchanges the normal version of the item and an upgrade material(for instance, a special thread that strengthens the armor) for the upgraded version. You can get those upgrade materials a couple ways, but most run the 24 man raids for them. And before you start worrying about having to keep track of dozens of "upgraders", there is typically 1 for jewelry 1 for armor and 1 for weapon, so only 3 total for the current level of gear.

I just got lvl 60 (well, will soon). What's the first gear set I should work on?
I should start with Tomestones of Esoteric gear right?

I should do the Beast Man tribe lvl 50 quests for Esoterics?
