Appartments are just FC rooms with a lobby.
Not sure about others, I didn't expect more of it..

This was what I was expecting, too. My fear is that they'll get devoured instantly as they are so cheap.

How many open rooms are we getting per server? Do we know that yet?

Yeah. They could've done apartments like GTA5 for example. I have a huge apartment with many rooms and a balcony in that game.

Well on one side better than nothing, at the other side if those are limited in numbers again and can be purchased from anyone at such a low price...well nothing will change..I really thought that these apartments would be instanced so anyone can buy them. I had hoped that I might be able to purchase a apartment in every city, to get more space but if they are limited than I wont do that because I would take rooms away from those that need them. (I already have a small house so that would not be fair)

So many housing items and barely any space X_X.

I hope people with personal housing have enough decency to not buy the apartments and leave them to people who don't have their own houses yet.

What happened to the Ishguard apartments? :rolleyes:

What needs to be done is one house and/or apartment per player, and much of the congestion would clear.


Honestly, I would be happy having a home in any of the cities despite being more in favor of Ishgard or Ul'dah, I'd be willing to go to *shudder* Gridania if it means finally having access to housing stuff. My FC can't get a house despite having the cash for a mansion, so this will give many of us access to some of the bonuses you get from having a home.

God, I miss stables....
