My girlfriend comes: Race problem

Elezen master race to show adventuring can have class (plus we look great in alot of gear).... Failing that then Highlander if she wants to slum it but look decent :P

Tonberry master race.

Highlanders are incredibly beautiful if done well. It's my second favourite race alongside Au Ra for females.

Highlander.

She should play a male character! There aren't enough of us RL girls playing in-game boys out there!

Choose based on race-specific gear.

Out of the three options I would choose Highlander. They can be cute, fierce, strong, weak, sexy and tomboy and anything in between, and have the best looking hempen gear.

I actually know more RL guys who play male characters in this game than in any other game and I also know quite a few RL girls who play male characters too. Both sexes have a pretty equal population in FFXIV. I think it's because they actually didn't sexualize females too much compared to a lot of other MMOs, and they made the males actually appealing too.

FemRoe's can be really stunningly beautiful!

I really think she needs to actually play one herself, because she might be able to make the most stunning looking character in character creation, then get in game and hate it (been there) because of the way it moves in or out of combat. And nothing is permanent when there are fantasias =)

It is a shame about those Elezen heads, but there are ways to mask those proportions. Use a large head of hair the same color as your clothes, typically dark. Somehow, at least to me, it then ends up less noticeable. Also helps if you spend a large part of your idle time sitting down, so you don't notice your own body height or size as much...
