you want 4:4:4:4 so the missing ones are Tank, Melee, Healer.
that would work for balancing Light Parties and Full Parties.
Here's my say on it. I really want them to add a new tank and healer to fix the issue that WAR and SCH's are so essential to raid scenario's. But there are other alternatives to this, balance healers and tanks so we could see raid compositions like PLD/DRK and WHM/AST in progressive content without getting gimped. Idk how they would do this but I want to see one or the other to fix this issue. Maybe its just an issue to me personally but I feel like this issue should apply to everyone else, being someone who has been playing WAR since 2.0, its getting rather stale.
Edit : I do believe SE will do one or the other of my mentioned suggestions, if not I don't think the Tank/Healer community will stay healthy. To clarify its not about making the Tank/Healer popularity grow but more to keep the popularity as it is, with a chance of growing it. If neither are done the popularity will decline and SE will not want this, and neither would the rest of the community, it wouldn't be good for any of us.
It's funny that people have been asking for Blue Mage but it won't be the kind of Blue Mage they are expecting if they are working on that.
And Red Mage will not be a dps since Samurai was already said that it would be a dps. Red Mage will either be healer or tank and I'm leaning more to a tank.
As for a healer... I'm hoping for dancer.
I think they'll totally rework the class/job system and we'll get no full jobs but instead be presented with a bunch of sub-jobs that can be used to augment existing jobs, because it neatly solves the problem they have that a whole bunch of classic FF jobs don't really fit into the Tank/Healer/DPS trinity.
Ok, I don't really think they'll do that, would be neat though IMHO.

DRK was way more popular than MCH and AST , it was awesome time for leveling , you could level a dps in DF like tanks do now :)
but if any of the new jobs is Tank ugh ....we really dont need more tanks ...another healer like dancer could work , but melee and healer dont mix well :/
It's be foolish to add more tanks and healers, it won't make the players play them more, considering only a minority play them. In the other hands, adding more DPS jobs would make more sense and make most people happy. I think we really need more magic DPS jobs to be added, considering there are only 2 mage jobs right, which is really not fair to anyone - like me - who love playing mage classes/jobs.
