You may need to alternate targets in an aoe burn, look how flare operates the one youre focused on gets all the damage then it gets dispersed to less on the other mobs? only advice i can give for that situation

Going to assume this is for duty finder content. If you are indeed talking about DF stuff just stick next to the tank and blast away, if you're the new tank it's W/e, healer will just keep you alive. I can see why the kicks happened, a DPS afraid to DPS cause he took hate is no longer doing his job, do it enough and than the scrutiny goes towards the tank instead of you. Now if you get that party that says, "stop dps'ing so much" I would be conflicted cause I like doing big numbers.

I play both BLM and PLD, so it might be that I understand how BLM works but I think you are just getting lazy tanks. My PLD is ilvl 220 with only 210 weap, and I only lose aggro once in a great while. Usually I can attribute it to me slacking.

definitely bad tanks. Sounds like they are more worried about pulling max dps instead of keeping hate and then doing their max dps.

Sounds like terribad tanks. Just keep doing what you're doing, if the tanks can't git gud, its not your fault. Believe me, it gets worse when you receive Foe Requiem support from a BRD. As a tank, if I know the emnity is a lost cause, I simply just concede aggro and then provoke it back in combination with a Butcher's block. That being said, I always try to pull a boss with Unchained as a Warrior to prevent this sort of thing.

Just watch your Enmity bars and switch to 2.0 rotation. If they can't handle even that just go full Ice Mage.

This is 100% bad advice because it validates what the tank is doing. Rather than telling terrible tanks that we can help them do their job by not doing our own jobs, we should be doing our jobs and telling them how to deal with it.
